How did GetItDonePro.com begin?

The idea for GetItDonePro.com came from trying to find affordable snow removal services for three different residential properties in the same area at the same time.  There were two main hassles: quotes and finding a reliable service.  After many phone calls, quotes were found ranging from $1,200 to $2,400 for one home alone.  Once negotiations began, one service was found that would lower the price to $700 per home.  This meant that for each of the three homeowners, they saved between $500 and $1,400 each on snow removal.  From this, GetItDonePro.com was born.

How will GetItDonePro.com save us money?

GetItDonePro.com will save you money through what is called “group pricing strategies.”  Group pricing strategies is when the same or similar service is grouped among several different parties who will each pay their individual share.  We have found that this is the best way to save our customers money, usually between 5% and 25%.  Some customers have even saved upwards of 30%.  Most of the savings come from reduced labor costs.  See the Saving Profile to see how this will work for you.

Save $100 on 2 – 4 (two to four) uses.

Save $200 on 4 – 6 (four to six) uses.

How does GetItDonepro.com work?

GetItDonePro.com groups your needs with our other clients who need the same or similar project done.  We have a large database of the best licensed and insured professional contractors in the State of Connecticut.  All contractors have already been pre-screened, background and referenced checked.  Where applicable, all State of Connecticut licenses have been confirmed.

Contractors have already submitted sample work proposals and quotes.  We help you find the contractor that is right for you and the job you need completed at the right price.

 If a contractor is not available in your area to provide the specific service(s) you need, we will then find the next contractor that is available.

We also carefully track job satisfaction and final job price from each individual customer’s feedback on the contractor that you, the customer, selected.  We do this in order to assure that all contractor work is held to the highest standards and that you are satisfied when the work is completed.

How does GetItDonePro.com match its customers with the right professional contractors for them?

To help GetItDonePro.com find our customers the right professional contractor for them, the first thing GetItDonePro.com does is send each individual customer a brief introductory survey that takes no more than 15 to 20 minutes to fill out.  The survey covers what type of work the customer wants or needs done, what their expectations are for both their projects and contractor, and then any questions or concerns they may have.  GetItDonePro.com takes it from there.  The customer’s individual needs are matched with the specific skill set and/ or interest of a small group of contractors.  The customer is then given a list to choose from.  This results in the right match for the right customer at the right price.

Who handles the service contract?

The service contract is handled directly between the customer and the contractor they decide to use.  GetItDonePro.com will request a copy of the contract to make sure all the information is complete in the contracts.  Contracts may be submitted to GetItDonePro.com by mail, email, or fax.

Contracts also help us serve current and future customers by building our network and database to assure that any information needed in the future will be accessible quickly.

Am I obligated to use the professionals whose information GetItDonePro.com provides?

No.  GetItDonePro.com provides the contractor information matched to the customer’s needs at that time.   However, you may choose to go with a contractor that has not been referred by GetItDonePro.com.

Do contractors know about my membership?

Yes.  However, GetItDonePro.com only provides them with a customer’s contact information if the customer has a job that the contractor specializes and/ or is interested in.

What is the “Neighbor Paying View” ?

The “Neighbor Paying View” shows what your neighbors are paying for work done to their homes.  All information is confidential.  No names or addresses are disclosed.

What are Reviews?

Reviews are the most important part of helping of our customers and what sets GetItDonepro.com apart from anybody else.  The reviews submitted by our customers help GetItDonePro.com keep track of the level of service and quality provided by the professional contractors that are part of our database.  Every request GetItDonePro.com receives from a customer will automatically generate a review to be completed and submitted by the customer.  This not only helps the customer make the right choice, but helps other customers make the right choice as well and increases the overall quality of the services provided by GetItDonePro.com.  It is a win-win for everyone involved.

When do I submit a review survey?

You are welcome to submit your review when you are ready and at your convenience.  However, the sooner after your job is done, the better.  The reviews help us know how the contractors we refer are doing and whether or not you are satisfied.

Since we don’t know exactly when your job is completed, we may request a review at any point.  This may occur if another customer needs the same or similar work done and we will be giving them the name and information of the contractor you hired.
